CIVILIGENCE

Participants will perform structural analysis and design of a structure considering earthquake resistance as per Indian standards. The task includes modeling, manual design calculations, structural drawings, and report writing using software tools such as STAAD.Pro/ETABS, AutoCAD, and MS Excel.

Team Composition:

• Each team must consist of 1 or 2 members.
• Each college can register multiple teams, but a student can be part of only one team.

Registration process:

• Participants must first pay the registration fee.
• After payment, participants must complete the ICI TechBloom 26 Registration Form to confirm their participation.

Allowed Resources:

• Software: STAAD.Pro / ETABS, AutoCAD, MS Excel.
• IS Codes: IS 456, IS 875 (Parts 1-5), IS 1893:2016 (hard/soft copies allowed).
• Laptops with pre-installed software are permitted (Internet use is prohibited).
• Calculator, drawing sheets, pens, and other stationery are to be brought by the participants.

Structural Requirements:

• Manual Design: Slab and Foundation (Excel permitted).
• Software Modeling: Beams and Columns.
• Output: Structural Drawings and Design Basis Report.

Event Duration:

• Total Time: 2Hours*.

*Teams completing earlier may get bonus points during the interview round.

Venue Instructions:

• Teams must report 30 minutes before the scheduled time.
• No entry will be allowed 10 minutes after the start of the event.
• Use of mobile phones is not allowed during the event.

Evaluation Criteria:

Disqualification Criteria:

A team will be disqualified if:

• Plagiarism or copying from other teams is detected.
• Internet usage during the event (unless permitted for IS codes access).
• Team members are found communicating with outsiders/other teams.
• Submission is not made within the given time frame.
• The team violates academic ethics or event rules.
